Fisherman's Village Hut1-Hydeaway Bay/Dingo Beach

At the gateway to the magnificent Great Barrier Reef, our coastal bush setting offers it all! Whether you seek adventure with the family or peace & tranquility with just a short drive to Airlie Beach, Cedar Creek Falls, Dingo Beach, or Hydeaway Bay where you are able to launch your boat or Jetski. Our property has 2 studio apartments set on 6 acres where you can relax at the fire pit with a beer next to the dam at the end of the day! The space Our air conditioned studio apartments offer an open plan area with an ensuite with enough sleeping space for 2 adults per unit including a queen size bed . Each unit comes equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, and a kettle for your coffee or tea. The patio area has an outdoor seating area where you can soak up the sunshine and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon wine. We offer plenty of off street parking for your car and boat/jetski, where you are able to utilise the fresh water bore to wash your boat/jet ski after a fun day out exploring the beautiful surrounding islands of the Great Barrier Reef. Take a leisurely walk to the dam where you can make a fire in the designated fire pit (provided there is no fire ban) and enjoy a picnic lunch at the table area. We have some local native wildlife that like to join us every afternoon for the avid birdwatcher. There is plenty of night wildlife too where you might even spot a possum or two! Guest access Guests are able to access all areas of the property accept for the fenced off area where we live with our 2 dogs. You may see us around where we will give you a friendly wave and say hi. Other things to note Besides the hustle and bustle of Airlie Beach city centre that is only 30 minutes drive away, there is also some good old favourite local pubs that are all within a 5-10 minute drive away for a yummy feed for lunch and dinner. We have security cameras on the shed in the fenced off area for security purposes and surveillance of the property only.
