The Maison des Champs

We will be delighted to host you in the "Maison des Champs", a large accommodation located at the corner formed by two wings of the Château du Secourieu, for a relaxing break in the countryside, in peace, in direct contact with nature. You will enjoy a wooden terrace and a Nordic bath installed in a walled garden that will be reserved for you. You will walk freely in the historic 12 ha park on the river bank that you can discover during a free guided tour. The space La Maison des Champs can accommodate up to 10 people, spread over five bedrooms, The house, comfortable and tastefully decorated (we had it furnished so that we could come to a cozy home in winter) is arranged on two levels. On the ground floor: entrance, living room (with a large fireplace), independent kitchen, two bedrooms (one bedroom with 2 single beds that can be joined together and a small bedroom with a single bed), laundry area under the stairs, shower room, toilet. Upstairs: a double bedroom (2 single beds 90 cm each that can be joined together), a small bedroom (one single bed 120 cm), and a family bedroom (3 single beds 90 cm each, 2 of which can be joined together, and an additional sofa bed 80 cm), bathroom, toilet. Reversible air conditioning in each bedroom as well as in the living room, Wi-Fi internet connection. We offer an "all-inclusive" service (sheets, towels - including a bathrobe for each person - and linens, wood for the fireplace, electricity and a welcome basket!) We tried to think of everything to make your stay enjoyable (you will even find a picnic basket waiting for you!). Le Secourieu is located in the municipality of Cintegabelle, less than two kilometers from Auterive, a small town of 10,000 inhabitants with many shops and services. Toulouse is 35 km from Le Secourieu, from where you can also reach the major sites of the region (Carcassonne, Albi, Foix and the Cathar castles, the Ariège mountains, the Volvestre and its villages, Saint Bertrand de Comminges, Lourdes, Narbonne and the Mediterranean Sea, etc.). "Events" are not allowed, the emphasis being on respect for the tranquility of the place, (especially for rooms overlooking the inner courtyard). On the property is another charming cottage "La Mouline" which can accommodate 6 people. By renting both cottages simultaneously, the Secourieu can accommodate a total of 16 people (10 people at the "Maison des Champs" and 6 people at the "Mouline". Guest access You can walk whenever you want in the large French garden of 12 ha protected as a Historic Monument, adorned with statues, columns, basins, fountains and follies, under the shelter of its centuries-old trees, and enjoying the river bank, as well as in the rest of the property (we ask you, however, to respect the private nature of the inner courtyard as well as the gardens or terraces located to the right of the family's occupied accommodation). Other things to note We provide you with all the linens you need for your stay free of charge; - bed linen (sheet, duvet and duvet cover, pillow and pillowcase) and you will find the beds made on arrival, - towels: for each person: a bathrobe, two towels (one large and one small), a washcloth. In each room you will have at your disposal a small bottle of shower gel, a bottle of shampoo and a bar of soap, - household linen (tablecloths and placemats, dish towels, kitchen apron). We also provide free wood for the large fireplace in the living room.
