Coolangatta Beach Shack

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. 5 minute drive from the airport, Walking distance to the beach, shops, movies, restaurants and cafes. Large entertainers deck with its own kitchenette and servery including a dishwasher and fridge. Large backyard with monkey bars for the kids to play. 2 separate living areas so the kids can have their own chill out zone. A renovated original beach shack has lots of character. The space Renovated original Beach shack, timber floors through out. Upstairs there is a lounge room and air conditioning 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and ceiling fan and the other is a single bed with a pull out mattress and a pedestal fan between the rooms is a bathroom and separate toilet. The main kitchen is upstairs the oven isn’t working but the 5 burner gas cook top does and there is a large 30L air fryer oven to use instead and a family Weber BBQ downstairs to cook in. Downstairs is more of the entertaining area with a big Tv and bifold doors and servary window onto the deck which has a family weber a high top table for 8 people and a couple of lounges The kitchenette includes a full size fridge and dishwasher. There are 2 bedrooms Both with ceiling fans one with a king bed and the other a queen bed. The bathroom and and laundry are down a couple of steps. There is a big back yard for the kids to play with monkey bars also an area with artificial turf underneath the deck. A few need to knows, because it’s an old house there a few quirks about the house. The front gate sometimes won’t close properly without you having to push the timber post where the latch is towards the gate. The front door sometimes needs a good pull to close properly so check it closed properly before you leave the house. In the laundry downstairs under the rug the floor boards were starting to raise so there are some cuts in the floor boards so keep the rug over it. In the downstairs bathroom there can be a tiny water leak when it rains so you can just put a towel down. Overall it’s a great house and perfect for 2 families to stay.
