Utility room with washing machine, dryer and clotheslines. IMPORTANT: Because of the thatched roof, open fire is prohibited in the immediate vicinity of the house. In the back of the garden, there is a barbecue area with a Weber gas grill. The ditch on the long side of the property is not secured; liability disclaimer. The house may not be used as a location for parties or events. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate youth groups. The thatched roof cottage, extensively renovated in 2019 and 2022, is located in Tating just outside Sankt Peter Ording. Short distances to the beach, golf course, Garding or Sankt Peter-Ording and at the same time a pleasant secluded location amidst paddocks and pastures. Up to 3 families fit in the large living-dining room at the long table. Cozy sofas in front of the large fireplace invite you to talk, read a book or look into the fireplace. Pure comfort! A view from the Danish wooden windows of the surrounding countryside with cows, sheep and lambs lets the soul shift down a gear. Classic plank flooring was laid in the living rooms and bedrooms. The kitchen makes the heart of a hobby chef beat faster and is equipped with an extra-large stove, dishwasher and many utensils. In total, the house has four double bedrooms and a large children's bedroom and playroom with two bunk beds. The downstairs bathroom has a floor-level shower and 2 sinks. The toilet is separate. Upstairs there is another bathroom with a floor-to-ceiling shower and a sauna. The upstairs toilet is also separate. The thatched roof cottage stands lengthwise on a small dike. The main entrance can be reached at the back through the garden, which borders on a water-bearing ditch. The ditch is freely accessible and not secured. The spacious terrace is sheltered from the wind. Sitting on high-quality teak furniture, you can overlook the terraced garden and the adjacent lawn. An old tree population provides shade and creates a magical atmosphere. Adirondack chairs, sun loungers and hammocks complete the garden use. Guests with e-bikes can safely park their bikes in the utility room and hallway and lock the access doors.
