Puesta del Sol is one block from Cerritos beach, renowned for beach break surf and family friendly waves. Our unit is ground level with a large private patio, outdoor kitchen and situated steps from the community salt water pool. The unit has a long rental history and is under new ownership! Stay our our perfectly situated, family friendly Baja spot. We cannot wait to host you! Two bedroom condo, one room with 1 king bed and the second room with 2 queen beds. Two bathrooms, one full and the second a half bath with an additional outdoor shower. Open concept living room, kitchen, with a nice sized island. Eat inside in the air conditioning at the table, or enjoy the outdoor space with another table under the shade of the umbrella and mature Baja landscaping. Lounge on your private chairs or relax by the pool just on the other side of the fence. While this is a shared complex, unit 7A has the largest fenced in patio!! You will have the privacy you need as if it is your own private home. The circular salt-water pool wraps around an 800 year old cactus. Guests will have access to the full condo, and complex, excluding the owners closet. Tu Casa Concierge Property Management is the OFF site management team ready to help as needed. They will reach out to you when your reservation is confirmed, on the day of your arrival, and they are available as needed throughout your stay. Walk to Cerritos Beach, Barracudas Cantina (as featured on the Food Network), Free Souls restaurant, Kimberly's mini-market, Cerritos Tropical, and a few other local spots. The complex Puesta del Sol is the original small development in the area due to the perfect location. We highly recommend renting a car if you plan to adventure past the neighborhood! Or stay close to surf and walk to the near by restaurants. Todos Santos is a 15 minute drive and worth a day trip! We can set up private transportation to and from the airport. If you are renting, we recommend Cactus rental as there are no hidden fees. **The magic of Baja California Sur is in the challenges. When you leave the conveniences of your home, entering this beautiful region of rural Mexico, you leave behind the expectations that everything is going to happen smoothly. While this sounds like an inconvenience, instead it is what makes this space magical. We get to slow down and remember what is truly necessary, appreciating what is important. We have this unique opportunity to take a step back and experience Baja as it is, not how we want it to be.** Cerritos, Pescadero and surrounding areas are considered RURAL Mexico. We love our guests to have this understanding before arrival, which helps manage expectations. Infrastructure and certain amenities are still developing in many ways. Electricity is fairly new to this area (within the last 3 years), so there are times of power outages. Many systems are only on solar and are not tied into the power grid in any way, solely relying on sunny days. Driving at night is dangerous due to cows on the road or cars without headlights (not banditos!) Please go slow. Most roads off the main highway are dirt and all roads in the area have potholes with lots of bumps. Most roads do not have street names, and houses do not have addresses. You must rely on the maps provided and do a little research of your own. Baja midnight is considered 9:00pm, and expect many businesses to close at this time. Buildings typically leak during rains, and water can come under doors depending on the amount of rain. We are in the desert with many new human inhabitants, therefore, the natives do make appearances. We attempt to mitigate this as much as possible, but please do not be surprised if you see a mouse or two, flies and gnats (bobs), ants, scorpions, or a rare snake. The entire Cerritos area is quickly developing so plan to see and hear construction in the distance. This area is considered safe, but we do still have petty theft. Please lock electronics and valuables in safes or locked cabinets when you are not home. We recommend trip insurance as unfortunately we cannot refund for weather, nearby construction, or rural Mexico related incidents
