CASA LOBO is a spacious house within an 80-hectare Private Complex, overlooking the sea and forest, a ten-minute drive from La Pedrera Spa. The site where the house is located has a particular characteristic: it is crossed by a native hill of very old trees and shrubs, around 200 years old, which make up an ecosystem where a great variety of bird species and vegetation coexist. The space One of the architectural premises was not to touch the trees, but to make them part of the house. The construction is two stereometric pieces, one of concrete and the other of wood, whose outer envelope operates as a perforated piece where it is prey to a vegetation that begins to invade it to absorb it into the mountain. It is crossed by a diaphanous light filtered by the trees, the sound of birds, and the sea air. There is no idea of a garden outside the house but rather an interior space to the mountain. Without euphemisms, it could be said that the house “is not seen”. This modern architect-designed house ensures cool days in the midst of the overwhelming summer heat, with cozy and relaxing interiors in front of the fire of the wood-burning stoves for winter. There are 150 square meters on one floor. A module divided into a kitchen, living-dining room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, an outdoor beach shower, and a large lookout terrace. The other module is a suite with a kitchenette and a private bathroom. The union of them is a social patio with a grill. It is a house of views, as it was designed to fit into the environment and share with it the interior of the house, which opens outwards in gigantic windows. Outside, in the middle of the wooded trees, there is a 1.3-meter-deep saltwater pool with steps, an outdoor shower, and a solarium; fenced for the peace of mind of children and pets. The idea is to spend time there with family or friends, which is why the social spaces take up a large part of the footage and all the prominence. Guest access The Club offers several services such as a tennis court, soccer, lakes for common use, SUM, security, 650 meters from the sea, where you can reach by car or on foot. The geography is characterized by the typical Uruguayan rolling countryside.
