Welcome to Eastern Pines Chalet, a cozy retreat in the mountains of southern Vermont! This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin on 10+ private acres is the perfect place to unwind after a long day on the slopes, hiking, leaf peeping, or exploring the nearby quintessential New England towns. The space Our modern mountain chalet comfortably accommodates up to six people. The main living space is open and airy with cathedral ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, newly renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and seating for six. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the conveniences of home for the nights you want to stay in. Stream your favorite shows while cuddled up on the sectional, or relax in front of the fireplace with a good book. With two sliding doors out to the deck, you can breathe in the fresh mountain air while sipping your morning coffee overlooking 10+ peaceful acres of wildlife. Outside, you'll find comfortable lounge furniture and a Blackstone Griddle on the deck, as well as Adirondack chairs around the fire pit for after dinner s'mores. Back inside, on the main floor, there is a full and completely renovated bathroom including a tub, and two bedrooms; one bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has a full size bunk over full size bed with a twin size trundle pull out. Upstairs you will find a cozy reading nook in the loft as well as another bedroom (two full size beds) and a full bathroom with a stand up shower. The living room and downstairs Queen bedroom both have TVs which run on ROKU Guest Mode which makes it easy for you to login to your accounts for streaming. Washer and dryer are available for your use and located in the basement. Less than an hour from six renowned ski resorts, and easy access to the best of Southern Vermont including hiking, shopping, dining, antiquing and more! Guest access You will have access to the entire home with the exception of two locked storage closets and a locked cabinet. We are excited to welcome you to our family cabin and hope that you will treat it with respect as your own. Our doors are equipped with electronic locks and your unique keyless entry code will be sent to you prior to check-in and will only be valid for the duration of your stay. Other things to note We strongly suggest you have 4WD/AWD to access the property, particularly in the winter, as the non-paved driveway is on an incline. The last 4 miles to access the property is gravel road and will be difficult to navigate with snow/ice without 4WD. Maximum of 6 guests allowed, including children of any age. Due to the nature of our septic system, we cannot accommodate any additional guests. We welcome up to two dogs maximum with additional pet cleaning fee of $100. Note that we do not have a fenced area on property. Please make sure to clean up after your pets. Guests will be responsible for any damage. There is limited cell service available when you are on the property, but with high-speed internet, you will be able to stay connected. Our property is located directly on the VAST (Vermont Snowmobile Trail) open seasonally. You may hear/see snowmobilers on the trail during winter. Signed rental agreement, government issued ID, and $300 security deposit hold through our property management software is required for all bookings.
