Welcome to Mira Riverfront Getaway. This listing is for our TWO neighboring cottages, that sleep a total of 10 people between 4 bedrooms. The cottages are on separate lots, but share an entry lane and are less than a minute walk from one another. Enjoy 2 acres of land, 450ft of water frontage and all the amenities you could ask for, including a top of line 6 person hot tub, barrel sauna, 2 fire-pits, hammocks, grill, water access, boat launch, 4 private decks, dock, kayaks and so much more. The space Both cottages are 2 bed, 1 bath and approximately 850 sq ft. **IMPORTANT** Please send us an inquiry for your dates. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING : - WINTER BOOKINGS/SPRING BOOKINGs ( Dec 1st-April 15th): We recommend only booking if you have a vehicle equipped with 4 wheel drive and winter tires. Our driveway is only plowed and walkways shovelled when snow exceeds 10cm, and this is not guaranteed before check in or check out. The cottage is outside city limits and the main roads are maintained by the CBRM and are usually not a priority. There is also a step hill going down to the cottages that is very ice/muddy this time of year. Without the proper vehicle you may get stuck or be unable to climb the hill. - A 3% marketing levy charged by Destination Cape Breton is included in this price. - NO SMOKING or VAPING inside the cottages, the sauna or hot tub. Any evidence of this could result in a $200 additional cleaning charge. - Absolutely no parties or large gatherings. We understand that you may want to have a visitor or two during the day. However we consider over 10 people between the two properties at any given time to be a gathering. Any guest that exceeds this without permission from host, will be asked to leave the property with no refund. - Additional guests are not permitted to stay overnight in trailers, tents, boats or on air mattress. Max 10 ( exceptions for infants in playpens ) PETS: Max 2 dogs ( sorry no puppies ) Dog(s) must pre approved by host and leashed at all times when on the property. No cats or other pets permitted ! Your dog(s) must be well behaved, friendly and over 12 months of age . We do not allow aggressive dogs on the property. There is an additional fee of $20 per night per dog. Pets are not permitted on beds or furniture. Depending on your booking platform, a pet fee may have to be added after the booking. Pets are not be left behind in cottages during the day. They must go with you or you can make arrangements for day care. - The Dock is aimed to be installed for the summer months of July & August. We install early and remove late depending on the season and water temperatures. It is never guaranteed and if there is a storm warning, the dock may have to be removed before or during your stay ( however this is very rare) - We do have a security system at both cottages with 1 camera facing the driveway. We ask that our guests do not use the alarm panel during their stay. The driveway camera and panel are to secure our property between reservations when the home is vacant, and is in no way to invade our guests privacy. It is motion detected and we periodically check footage. - Mosquitoes and black fly activity can be extremely high from mid May-late July. We do have bug zappers on the properties but come prepared with bug spray or coils. - Small watercraft are welcome but are not to be docked overnight. Please let us know if you plan on brining one. - Kayak wavier must be signed by guests prior to use. - Firewood is provided - We have a smaller than average tub at the cedar due to space constraints (48”) BABY ESSENTIALS: We can provide baby essentials upon request ( playpen, bathtub, high chair free of charge) mini crib rental $30 per stay *Bring bug spray during early summer months. *There is a ladder off the side of the dock to easily access the water but if you plan on walking in we recommend bringing water shoes.
