Dear vacationers, Welcome to the Appartamento Nicandi in the idyllic climatic health resort of Sankt Englmar. Our 53 sqm 2-room feel-good apartment, located at 900 m above sea level, the great amenities of the resort and the attractions of the Bavarian Forest Nature Park guarantee a perfect vacation – in summer as well as in winter. -> ATTENTION: IN THE PERIOD 11/18-12/20 THE INDOOR SWIMMING POOL IS CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE WORK. THE SAUNA AREA IS OF COURSE OPEN. <- The space THE APARTMENT To feel good, you need more than just living space – above all, you need a lovingly designed environment. Our apartment has been renovated by us with great pleasure. We have significantly enlarged the bathroom and created a nest with many details, in which, according to the previous feedback, “the heart opens up”. No problem with our equipment! - 2 ceramic hobs - Fridge - Ceramic sink with draining area - Microwave with grill function - Coffee maker, toaster, kettle - Pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, etc. Guest access THE RESORT Clear, straightforward architecture, shaped by the spirit of Le Corbusier. Created in the 70s.....but even if you look at its age in some details, the complex is well maintained and both the swimming pool/sauna/fitness area and the rest of the buildings have already been extensively renovated. - Indoor pool with children's pool - Outdoor pool with extra-wide slide - Sauna area with Finnish sauna, bio sauna and infrared cabin - Gym with more than 20 machines, dumbbells, etc. - Indoor playground "FamilyWorld" (for a fee) with slides, trampoline, electric kart, climbing castle, billiards, table soccer, Lego building site and childcare service - Outdoor chess - Mini golf (for a fee) - Ski and snowboard rental - Underground parking space can be booked in addition - Washing tokens available at reception for 3 euros per washing drum Other things to note THE HEALTH RESORT The idyllic Sankt Englmar is easily accessible from the A3 and is beautifully located at 800-900 m above sea level near the peaks of Predigtstuhl and Pröller. There are various shopping facilities (large EDEKA, bakery, butcher, sports/clothing stores, gas station, Sparkasse) as well as cafes, an ice cream parlor and restaurants. In the middle of the village there is a spa park with a children's playground, sunbathing lawns and a pleasantly clean swimming pond. Also in the middle of the village, the adventure museum "Bayerwald Xperium" awaits discovery-loving visitors and the adventurous among you can let off steam with 4D archery and in the climbing forest to your heart's content. The surrounding area Sankt Englmar and the Bavarian Forest are a family vacation dream for every season!
