The captain's retreat invites you to a relaxing encounter with nature and the tranquility of its navigable rivers. Our cabins are nestled in the forest, amid native trees, connected by a beautiful suspension bridge and a main houseboat, full of stories, culture, and art. The cabins have an independent tub with an additional value in case it is required. Don't miss out on this great experience of relaxation and Valdivian culture The space The Captain's Refuge is a themed space in the form of a ship built in tribute to my great-grandfather, a sailor. It has two cabins with an atmosphere, inserted in the forest, ideal for people looking to connect with nature and their surroundings and, above all, with moments and stories. Guest access The cabins are nestled in a forest of native trees that you can explore along its trails. It has a common space (Casa Barco) where you can learn about its history and share experiences with others. It has a swimming pool overlooking the river, available to all guests. Other things to note The Captain's Refuge is located about 700 meters from the main road of the upper Cutipay Road. Ideally, access is enabled for 4x4 vehicles, and in the case of 4x2 vehicles, they can park inside the enclosure about 200 meters from the cabins. In addition to this, it is about 5 to 10 minutes from Niebla beach, a traditional fair, pharmacies and businesses, and a post office. The Refuge is guarded by 4 very friendly and adorable sailor dogs. The Captain's Refuge cabins have private tubs with an additional value to be negotiated according to requirements.
