The Retreat is located in a quiet nook just a stone’s throw from the beautiful West Coast of Barbados. This spacious light filled sustainably designed two bedroom home looks on to a tranquil green space dotted with tropical fruit trees and gardens. Ideally suited for those who wish tranquility yet still be close to the island life. Its mere minutes’ walk from the beach, public transportation, restaurants, bars and the convenience store. The space This contemporary two Bedroom one bathroom santuary offers a spacious and breezy wrap around patio which looks onto tranquil garden spaces. The interior features an open plan Living / Dining / Kitchen. The large functional Kitchen which looks onto both the Living and Dining room, comes with all of the crockery, cutlery, utensils and glasses you will need. This Kitchen features granite countertops and GE stainless steel appliances which includes a gas stove, an eye level oven and a french door fridge. There is also a microwave for your convenience. The cozy Living Room offers a comfy sofa and accent chair perfect for watching a movie on the large Flat Screen Television (with Amazon Fire Stick) or catching up on social media using the complimentary high speed Wi-Fi. There are two Bedrooms at your disposal, both of which are air-conditioned with ample storage. Linen, Bath and Beach towels are provided for your comfort. All windows have insect screens. There is a spacious laundry with a washing machine for your exclusive use. There are both covered and outdoor drying areas again for your exclusive use. The unit also features a two car garage with garage doors which is yours to use exclusively. Feel free to park your rental vehicles or use it for recreational purposes. There is no housekeeping service for stays under 3 weeks unless specially requested. This can be arranged at an additional cost. For stays of and over 4 weeks, housekeeping is mandatory and will be provided free of charge every 2 weeks. Guest access Feel free to use the lawn space around the patio and in the open area where the fruit trees are located. Other things to note There are two other units in the building but each has its own separate private access and parking area.
