The space The house itself, a Queen Anne with all the architectural flair of a particularly ambitious scone, stands proudly as a testament to a bygone era when craftsmanship was a bit less about efficiency and a lot more about whether it could make your aunt gasp audibly. Inside, you'll find rooms positively brimming with charm, ready to envelop you in a warm embrace of history and tasteful eccentricity. As for the Elizabeth River, the property's shallow water access is ideal for dipping toes, launching kayaks, or engaging in the sort of thoughtful contemplation that makes others suspect you’ve just written a novel. And the porch—oh, the porch! Large enough to accommodate tea parties, pondering life’s mysteries, or the occasional impromptu fencing duel (though the latter is frowned upon after tea-time). Guest access The house is easily accessible to downtown and major shopping areas. There are nearby freeways leading to Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Newport News, and Virginia Beach. The house is built on a corner lot, and there are 4 parking spaces for guests to use. Street parking is also available. During your stay We are available locally to respond to requests.
