Welcome to our historic and authentic log cabin! This cabin was built in the 1950’s by our Aunt Nancy and Uncle Bob. We have enjoyed making family memories here for over 70 years. If you like to golf, hike, fish, mountain bike, rock climb, sled or ski, you will love using Aunt Nancy’s Cabin as your home base! We are registered STR-107852. Remodeled extensively in 2021, we are located across from the local golf course, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and forests. We are in walking or short driving distance to the best restaurants and cafes the mountain has to offer, a short drive to the Mt. Hood Shuttle, and close to Oregon's glorious hiking (5-20 min), skiing (15-30 min), rock climbing (10-20 min), and mountain biking (10-20 min). Family members have been known to spend one day skiing and the next enjoying a round of golf! After your day of adventuring, enjoy a fully equipped kitchen for preparing your meal. Unwind by watching TV using our ROKU television (featuring Netflix, Hulu Live and Disney +) or by playing card games around our dining table. Sit out front and observe the golfers and wildlife. Or step out back and relax in our fenced and forested backyard. We offer a gas grill for outdoor cooking and a fire pit for storytelling and s'more roasting (season dependent). We are a family-oriented property - and families include your furry companions! We boast a fully-fenced 1/4 acre forested backyard, perfect for exploring! We include dog waste bags, bowls, towels and furniture coverings. We've made sure to include child-friendly amenities such as a pack 'n play, high-chair, blackout widow cover, child friendly cups, utensils and serving ware, as well as a selection of open-ended toys and high-quality children's books. Guest access Property is accessible by a personalized key code that will activate upon check-in and deactivate upon check-out. - You will have access to the entire cabin, garage (for gear), the side shed (firewood, games), and our full yard. - The garage is for the storage of gear and is accessible by a personalized key code. The "car door" is to remain closed and locked. The garage is NOT available for parking cars. - We can accommodate two cars in our driveway (and offer a 30 amp / 120v electric car charging plug). - Since the property is located across from the golf course, use caution as there may be approaching golf balls. Other things to note Property manager will be on-site Wednesdays/Thursdays to handle trash. Dogs: We welcome up to two dogs! - Dogs are not to be left unattended in the house unless crated. We provide a medium sized dog crate. - Dogs are not to be left unattended in the backyard for any length of time. - Please wipe paws and fur upon entering the cabin, and use provided sheets and blankets on furniture.
