The wild south is a summary of what we like best about the island of Réunion. We especially love this part of the island: how can a place be so relaxing and at the same time exciting and intense? And outside… an incredibly beautiful view. “La Ravine” is the name of our house, it is right on the ravine of Grégues. The island of Réunion is traversed by countless ravines. “La Ravine des Grégues” is a beautiful green and narrow valley with steep walls, eroded by flowing water. During the rainy season, the ravine has beautiful waterfalls and forms a river that, via the town of Manapany, flows into the waters of the Indian Ocean. The ravine and waterfall remain dry if it does not rain for a long time. The ravine is, among other things, a favorite habitat for wildlife on the island of Réunion. You can easily observe papangues, straw tails and many other bird species. Butterflies also roam around, and if you are discreet, you can see tangs (endemic hedgehogs). Guest access You have the whole house at your disposal. Other things to note The "Master bed" is a comfortable waterbed. Sleeping on a waterbed perfectly distributes the pressure on your body. This is the main difference between sleeping on a mattress and in a waterbed. In a waterbed, your spine always keeps its natural shape and your body is perfectly supported, regardless of your sleeping position. With a hot tub, just for you in your own garden. The living room sofa can be unfolded to serve as an extra double bed. A crib/child's bed and possibly toys are available upon request.
