The Penthouse

This two-level Penthouse is one of the most extraordinary places to stay in Exmouth. Built for indulgence and a sense of space, it’s a perfect place to be up in the clouds above one of the most vibrant and varied towns in Devon. The views are absolutely stunning! The space The huge, split-level living area, with vaulted ceilings and atmospheric lighting, has stunning panoramic views to the estuary and Dartmoor, through full wall, glass, bi-fold doors. These open to a stylish balcony, complete with mood lighting, an array of potted plants and a Japanese style water-feature. While the living area is dual aspect, the views from the balcony are to the west towards the Exe Estuary, Haldon hills and wonderful sunsets. The well designed kitchen, again with far-reaching estuary views, includes most utensils needed for cooking. Electric hob, double oven, microwave, coffee machine, under-counter built-in fridge, freezer, dish-washer. The adjoining cupboard houses a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The lounge contains a 65" wall-mounted smart TV with an impressive sound system. A stylish table (seating 4) and a huge, very comfortable, corner sofa. The unusual feature in the stylishly decorated bathroom is a double-sized, LED lit, jacuzzi with built in shower. The spacious, double bedroom is downstairs with plenty of natural light, excellent sound system and ample storage. There is unlimited, high-speed Wifi throughout and the TV is fully loaded with streaming services including Netflix. The Penthouse has a private EV charger (facilitated via Co-Charger) within the allocated, covered, car port adjacent to the building. There is a 235cm height/ 225cm width restriction to the bay. Guest access The Penthouse is the third and fourth levels of a wonderful, 1880s town house that was converted into flats in 2008. Although only a single bedroom flat, was built to maximise enjoyment from its height, light and space, and is always kept in very good decorative order. However, please be aware that there is no lift, only stairway access via the newly decorated communal hall and stairways to the private front door of the Penthouse. The dedicated, covered parking bay is at the rear of the building with easy access through a small courtyard. Other things to note Please note that this is a fourth-floor apartment with no lift! But SO well worth every step...
