Peaceful Travel Housing

This is a large room with a private bath, private entrance, and FireTV, attached to the main house. I have enjoyed hosting travel nurses, student interns, and others on short-term job assignments for a few years now (on a different platform). Please note, I have two cats that share my home with me! Because this is my home, I do screen my guests. I live a quiet and peaceful lifestyle and I'm looking for guests that enjoy the same. I would love to chat with you, and hope we are a great fit! :) The space This is a private room is in a small ranch house that you'll share with me. My lifestyle is quiet, but I am friendly, and always happy to share info about great places and happenings in Kansas City! The kitchen is a decent size, fully stocked with cooking supplies, and you will have your own full-sized fridge and freezer and a dedicated cabinet in the kitchen. Guest access You will be sharing the kitchen, living room, and use of the washer and dryer. There is shared driveway or street parking. During your stay I'm available by text, although I can't respond immediately during working hours (I am a teacher). I'm home most evenings and you are likely to run into me in the kitchen and living room. I am happy to share some of my favorite places in KC and open to friendly chats, but I am also happy to let you be. You can interact as much or as little as you please. :) Other things to note Although your room is large and private, this is communal living in a small house. I am considerate and thoughtful and are looking for the same in a temporary housemate! :) Also, stays have to be a minimum of 30 days because of city rules. Please note, I also require proof of employment/contract for long term stays. This area is suburban and does not have access to public transportation. You will need a car to get around. I have a strict no smoking, no drug policy. Not 420 friendly. No parties. I have two senior cats, and unfortunately can't allow any additional pets at this time.
