Seaside Cottage to Die For
April/May Bulletin: Due to storms this winter, we are not in position to accept reservations until repairs and restoration are completed. Here's our description: Literally at the water's edge in Bass Harbor, where high tide laps the shore beneath your deck, lulling you to sleep as if on a boat. This quaint 'camp' is cosy, i.e. close quarters, at the scenic southwest corner of Mount Desert Island. MDI is home to Acadia National Park where trails, hikes, kayaking, mountains and more abound. 2die4 The space Apr./May Bulletin, (ctd.): Coastal Maine really got clobbered this winter, and our beloved SCTDF was no exception! Repair and restoration efforts are underway, but as of today we are not in position to accept reservations. If you are interested, let us know with a return note, and we will get back to you as soon as we are perfectly sure the cottage will be fully back to battery and ready for you to have an amazing visit. The sunsets alone are worth the trip. Guest access You will enjoy full access to this cute, charming little beach-front cabin. Built in 1921, so grandma could return for her summer days, it is definitely quirky including the ladder to the “loft” bedroom (fka attic) for the twin bed, as well as the gentle slope of the floors toward the sea. The other two beds are doubles, so bring people you’re good being close to. Also understand you’re adjacent to another rental property, so hospitable and courteous comings & goings are essential. Other things to note Please pay close attention to your pet á propós the busy Main Street. We escort our Minnie whenever she goes out and she’s learning. Please, no tragedies! Also, poop scoop & proper disposal a must! Enjoy!
