GATED HOME Wylie's Retreat is a gated home. There are two automatic gates located at the front of the home. The first gate on the right when you arrive is the ENTRANCE gate. The second gate on the right when you arrive is the EXIT gate. TO ENTER You will receive a gate code to enter on the keypad. TO EXIT Please follow the directions listed at the property and in the digital guidebook sent to you to exit properly. Other things to note GENERAL RULES - You may not use the kayaks and paddle boards unless you have agreed to the waiver. - Do not use the indoor fireplace. - Do not touch, tamper with, or use the boat. - Use the dock at your own risk. - Swim at your own risk. - Use caution when walking around the property. There are natural deviations in grading that can result in injury if you are not careful. - Do not make large fires in the fire pit. - Please do not leave warm or hot embers in the fire pit. - If you bring more guests than are reflected on your reservation, you may be asked to leave without a refund. - There is a $250 pet fee for up to two pets. - An additional fee will be charged to your reservation if pet droppings are left inside or outside. - No large gatherings or events over occupancy are allowed unless discussed and approved prior to booking with your host. You may be subject to additional event fees and security deposits. - We have security cameras monitoring the entrance gate, exit gate, front door, garden, main deck, and side back door for your protection. - Please keep the cover on the hot tub when not in use. - Do not put soap in the hot tub. - Dispose of trash in tied trash bags in the large garbage cans outside. Do not place any unbagged trash into the cans to avoid an additional fee! - Please limit your trash to 6 bags. - No smoking is allowed. Violation of this rule may result in a $2,000 smoke damage fee. BOOKING DETAILS - Changes to reservations are not accepted after 24 hours of booking. - Guests must be 25+ years old to book. - Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued for circumstances beyond our control, including inclement weather, health-related issues, or other unforeseen/extenuating circumstances. We highly suggest purchasing travel insurance. - The minimum age to book is 25 years old. TRASH PICKUP & FEES - Guests are allowed 6 bags of trash per stay for free. It’s no problem if you have extra bags! However, please note there may be a $50 excess trash fee. MID-STAY CLEANING - We offer mid-stay cleaning for an additional fee upon request and subject to availability EMBRACING THE ENVIRONMENT Our mountain home is a fortunate haven surrounded by the wonders of nature. However, it's important to keep in mind that various critters call our neighborhood home. Although we have an exceptional cleaning team and make every effort to keep them away, we cannot guarantee that they won't occasionally make an appearance. You can assist in minimizing the chances of such encounters by promptly cleaning up any crumbs or spills, and securely disposing of trash in the designated cans outside.
