Portview Carriage House

The "Portview Carriage House" sits at a quiet dead-end and overlooks Long Lake with large forward facing windows for a serene lake and sunset view. Nearby to Firestone Country Club and Akron Executive airport, our location at the heart of PLX is suited for access to any regional and local events. The space The property is a new build that is modern and clean. Although it is not lakefront as Airbnb has it categorized the property features magnificent lake views as well as access to our kayak launch across the street. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the entire property including the yard and indoor living space, but not to the locked garage or kitchen pantry. Other things to note Guests are provided with one cleansing disc per bathroom, two toilet paper rolls per bathroom, two dishwasher pods, and detergent for two loads of clothes. Limited Keurig pods are also provided. Occasionally, you'll get some great views of aircraft flying into Akron Executive, including the Goodyear blimp right out your front window. Owners private kayak/boat launch provided across the street. Bring a kayak, paddleboard, float, or other small watercraft (no trailers). A picnic table and grill is provided on property for tenant use May through October. Please note that while we have installed an excellent new filtration system, the house uses well water rather than city water. Long Lake is also one of the few legal water landing sites in Ohio, so we will be able to accommodate those arriving by sea plane with prior arrangement, to be docked across the street.
