This hidden gem feels like a small village, yet is just 4 stops on the underground to Piccadilly. A 10-min walk to Tate Britain & a beautiful walk along the Thames to Big Ben. This area is one of London’s hidden gems - peaceful, leafy and full of character while still being close to the heart of the city. The space I bought this flat in 2017 because I fell in love with Bonnington Square – a peaceful leafy corner of central London with beautiful gardens, tree-lined streets and a strong sense of community. Life here often feels more like a small village than a busy city. You’ll rarely hear traffic, just birds, neighbours chatting, or occasionally one of the community’s lovely concerts or festivals. Vauxhall is notoriously a very inclusive area of London, so is my flat: everybody is welcomed, no matter what she/his they/them religion, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation. The apartment is clean, comfortable and lived-in, a real home rather than a hotel and I hope you feel relaxed and at home during your stay. You’ll also find two much-loved local spots just around the corner: Italo Deli Café and the famous Vegetarian Bonnington Café Guest access The flat is on the ground floor with a few steps at both the front and back entrance. Unfortunately it is not suitable for wheelchair access. Other things to note Discounted Thursday and Sunday nights make it easier to turn your stay into a longer, more relaxed London weekend. The living room sofa converts into a sofa bed if needed. The listed price includes all utilities such as water, gas and electricity, wifi.
