Perched on a hillside overlooking the Bay of Fundy, this one-of-a-kind lighthouse-shaped cottage offers a memorable one-bedroom retreat. While there is a detached green building on the property, it is simply our private garage, laundry, and utility building—not another rental or residence. The top-floor living room features panoramic views of the Bay of Fundy and the famous St. Martins Sea Caves. A short walk leads to the beach and sea caves. Main level: Entryway, fully equipped kitchen, half bath Second level: Private bedroom and full bathroom Top level: Cozy living room with panoramic water views, deck, and two pull-out couches A sofa bed is also available on the main floor. The bedding is in the ottoman under the TV. Located on a quiet, lightly used road with no public access—chosen by guests for its peaceful and private setting. Guests & Accessibility Please contact the host before booking if your group exceeds 5 guests. Due to stairs throughout, this cottage is not suitable for young children and guests must be comfortable with a multi-level layout. Access Gravel driveway on a hill. Laundry (Extended Stays) Laundry access can be arranged for longer stays. Cleaning staff use the machines between 11 AM and 3 PM, so availability is required during these hours. No pets Guest access Enjoy full, private access to the Lighthouse Cottage throughout your stay. A nearby mechanical building houses our laundry facilities, and staff may be on-site briefly for laundry or maintenance. Your privacy is important to us, and we work to minimize any disruption. Laundry is reserved for staff use daily from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Other things to note This unique three-storey cottage is best suited for guests who are comfortable with stairs. The access road and gravel driveway are functional but rustic; please drive slowly, especially as the driveway winds uphill. The cottage was completed in December 2023, with final landscaping details still being completed. The Lighthouse Cottage was originally designed as a one-bedroom retreat for couples or small groups. Due to guest requests, we have added two convertible couches and a sofa bed to accommodate additional guests. Please note that the only permanent bed is the king-size bed in the bedroom. This property does not accommodate pets. An undisclosed pet may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund. If arriving after dark, please watch for two lights at the end of the driveway to guide you in. For your comfort and peace of mind, the cottage is equipped with a Generac backup power system, which will automatically power the home during an outage. A lightning protection system has also been installed to help keep guests safe during storms. The electric fireplace is for ambience only. Heating is provided by a heat pump and an electric fan heater on this level. The detached green building beside the Lighthouse is our private garage, laundry, and utility building. It is not another rental or residence. We occasionally stop by to test the hot tub, perform lawn care, or do laundry for our other cottages. These visits are brief, and we always respect our guests’ privacy.
