Farm stay in Rapid City

Our farm's only bnb, "The Roost," offers a clean, modern, & fun space to stay. Located in the lower walkout level of our home, it's similar to a suite. Offering 575 sq. ft. of private, clean, well maintained living quarters include, a kitchen, a cozy living space, w/twin sofa bed, & a spacious bed & bathroom. Chickens just outside your door to greet you a "rise & shine" morning & flowers everywhere. Our seasonal gardens are open for you to enjoy picking organic food, along with farm fresh eggs. The space Hills Roost Farm is a small acreage cut flower & berry farm. Our farm backs up against the Black Hills National Forest for acres and acres of play. "The Roost" is our only rental space on the farm, making it very special, safe, and unique. The Roost has its own driveway, parking area, private deck and grill, private entrance, king bed, spacious bathroom, and cozy living space. *It is also partially earth sheltered, so it stays very cool and comfortable in the hot summer months. 😉 The kitchen has 17.5 cubic ft. frig/freezer, electric range, coffee maker, coffee and filters, toaster, h20 hot pot, dishes, silverware, measuring cups, pots, pans, blender, and a microwave. Salt & pepper, olive oil, bottled water, condiments & many other little details to make you feel right at home♡ The living space has a small (twin) pull-out sofa bed for a 3rd guest. A 43" smart tv with free Wi-Fi, Netflix (but no cable), a few games, and lots of what-to-do in the Black Hills books & literature. The spacious bathroom has a large concrete sink and countertop, mirrored area, walk-in shower, towels, soap, shampoo & and conditioner, and a hairdryer. ***Please note: If you are super tall, the bathroom (only) ceiling height is only 6'.5" because of the step-up approach. Guest access We welcome our guests to hang out on the farm, in the gardens, or hit the backyard forest trails that are all around us. Make yourself at home! This will be more of an experience than just renting a room. So enjoy♡ You will be given a key to your space upon arrival, along with all the privacy you desire. Your happy experience is very important to us! Other things to note We are very flexible with late check-ins, so don't panic if something goes unexpected in your travels. *No smoking anywhere on the property. *As a courtesy, please check with us prior to having any extra people or friends that might visit during your stay. Our farm is on a septic system; which means that we are not on city sewer. That basically means that we own and manage our own crap! Lol. It is essential that only natural waste & toilet paper go into and down the toilet. The Roost has its own heat source & control of temperature, as it often gets chilly in the Black Hills at night.
