Chabanais gîte with terrace & heated pool

A real getaway 🌿 Gîte Chabanais, a charmingly renovated barn with a private balcony terrace and views of the peaceful garden. Open kitchen with dishwasher, cozy living room, bathroom with shower and toilet, 2 bedrooms, and an additional toilet. Covered outdoor terrace. Bedrooms downstairs, cool in the summer. Ideal for families and longer or business stays. Less suitable for guests with walking difficulties. The space Get out for a while The Gite Chabanais is part of a stable and is mirrored to the Gite Rochechouart. Inside you'll find a complete open kitchen, living room overlooking the garden and a bathroom with a shower and toilet, downstairs bedroom with two single beds,(these are linked together but can also be set separately), a bedroom with two single beds, a separate toilet, We have an above ground heated swimming pool of 9m x 5m (shared) on the premises. Table tennis and foosball available on the premises. Swing & slide & trampoline in the garden. Canoeing/kayaking on the river 2km from us in Exideuil or on the lakes. Guided tours available. Golfing in Montemart. Many artificial beaches at the lakes within a 15-minute drive from us in Etagnac, Roumazieres and Pressignac - popular every year with couples and families bringing a picnic (although a snack bar is available) water sports also available. Aventure Parc - in Massignac Monkey Word Zoo in Romane/La vallée des singes is great for the whole family. Don't forget to visit Oradour-sur-Glane very impressive. Of course, don't forget to visit the beautiful city of Limoges known for its porcelain and Angoulême many nice shops for the shoppers among us. Well, if you're really bored, the coast with the famous seaside resort of La Rochelle is well worth it or Bordeaux (2 hours drive). There's actually too many to mention ,book and explore ! Suitable for hikers and cyclists. Bike rental in the area. Not suitable for people with walking difficulties! Guest access Access to garden and swimming pool is shared with other guests. Garden is completely fenced, so no worries about the children, they can play and romp around. There are chairs and sun loungers everywhere in the garden, and for those seeking peace and quiet, there are places to read a book or enjoy the surroundings. Gites Confolens and Chabanais are equipped with a dishwasher, all gîtes are equipped with basic necessities such as coffee, tea, sugar, etc. All gites have new box springs and/or mattresses at the end of 2024. Supermarket 15 min drive in Chabanais. If you need it, you can also pass on your first groceries to us, and we will make sure that it is present in the Gite. Of course, we will charge an extra fee for this. Shared washing machine available if you wish to use it, we charge €5 per wash. Heating costs are included in normal use. In case of more use or unnecessary use, we are forced to settle this with you, which we can see in the Energy app. The Gites 3 together are ideal to rent for Family reunion or bicycle or walking club etc. We do not rent to young people. Pets are not allowed, only in the Gite Confolens is a dog allowed. €25 fenced garden in front of the gîte where the dog can be let loose, not allowed on the shared property.
