The space Inside, the accommodation blends charming features like beamed ceilings and a wood burner with light and neutral decor, illuminated by large windows. The open-plan sitting/dining room has room for everyone; snuggle up in front of the fire or sit around the dining table to enjoy a meal all together overlooking the terrace. The kitchen has everything you need from a home-from-home, while there’s also a handy downstairs cloakroom and a book-lined hallway providing inspiration for your holiday reading list. Climb the stairs to discover three bedrooms: a king-size bedroom, a double bedroom and a twin room with a rollaway bed. All share the family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside, there’s plenty of opportunities to make the most of the fresh country air; choose from the grassy terrace, the bird-filled copse or the large gravelled courtyard with a BBQ. There is also parking at the property for two cars. Bridport, is 3 miles from the property, is a must-visit for shopaholics, with its popular markets and arts sector. Kids will love Abbotsbury Swannery (9 miles), home to 600 Mute swans and a maze made of willow in the shape of a swan, and Abbotsbury Children’s Farm (8 miles) where you can groom the ponies, pet the donkeys and bottle-feed baby goats. Less than 2.5 miles away is the secluded and sandy Hive Beach, where you can swim, sunbathe and sandcastle-build to your heart’s content.
