Perfect hub for visiting National Parks or biking and ATV trails. Great place to stay when attending events at the Sevier Valley Center (1.5 miles). Maxine's still needs some work on the outside, but the inside has been completely remodeled. We designed the living room to feel like home with lots of comfy chairs and pillows. So we hope you make yourself at home and get comfy. The TV has lots of free channels that run off of an antenna. There is a Roku hooked up to the TV with more free shows on the Roku channel, or you can log in to your favorite subscriptions. We also provide free Wi-fi that is fast and reliable. The dining area is roomy and free of clutter with a table that seats 6 and an island that seats 2. The kitchen includes a large refrigerator, full size stove, microwave, and toaster. We have a 3-in-1 coffee maker for making a full pot or single cup of coffee or for simply heating water for cocoa or tea. Enjoy a few complimentary packets to get you started. We have a washer and a dryer for our guests that want to do laundry. So feel free to use the complimentary laundry pods to run a quick load. Or bring some soap for those extended stays and keep up on laundry so you don't have to do it all when you get home. The bathroom includes a tub/shower combo and a vanity with a large mirror. If we could change anything about the house it would be to make the bathroom a bit more roomy. But, the house is over 100 years old and the bathroom was added on after the house was built, so we've tried to update the space and make it the best that we can. The big bedroom has a comfy king bed and huge closet with luggage racks. There is a full length mirror which you could use for getting ready and take some pressure off the bathroom. The nightstands have USB as well as regular outlets, plus an alarm clock. The small bedroom has a twin over full bunkbed with a twin trundle. Since the bedroom is small the trundle cannot be pulled all the way out but it is still big enough for a big kid to sleep on. The extra bedding is in the closet along with a luggage rack. There is a nightstand with USB and regular outlets and an alarm clock. Maxine's is located just one block off of one of the main roads through town, so it is very easy to find. The neighborhood is VERY quiet and private. Because it is on the corner there is plenty of available parking if you are hauling ATV's or pulling a trailer. Enjoy a spectacular view of Cove and Monroe Mountains out the front windows. The yard is fully fenced which is nice if you have small children that want to play outside. Feel free to open the gate and park under the patio. You can move the patio table as desired. Richfield is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting the national parks. Maxine's is within a 2.5 drive from all 5 Utah National Parks. Richfield is also home to the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree. The Paiute Trail System boasts over 2000 miles of trails to ride and is the longest in the US. Richfield has also constructed a network of mountain bike trails that are beginning to attract people from all over the country. In addition the Sevier Valley Center hosts several weekends of wrestling and basketball tournaments as well as dance competitions, concerts, plays, and more. We understand that hotels have to keep people moving in and out on a schedule, but we have a little more flexibility than that. So feel free to ask for an earlier check-in or extended check-out time and we will do our best to accommodate you. We want to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
