We provide a private chef, you only need to provide the ingredients. We'll take care of preparations and cleaning! This exquisite three-bedroom, two-bathroom sanctuary is nestled in a half-acre of gated paradise. Vaulted wood ceilings and white tile floors lead you through well-appointed rooms adorned with high-quality furniture and globally curated art, creating an ambiance of refined sophistication. At the heart of this haven is Cristina, our crown jewel. Cristina oversees the estate and lives on the property in a casita near the house. She is available to be of service at any point during your stay. More than a property manager, she's a culinary virtuoso armed with a degree in molecular gastronomy. Simply bring her the ingredients you would like prepared and she'll craft sumptuous meals from whatever ingredients you provide, followed by the added relaxation of knowing she will also take care of the aftermath. Step outside to find a verdant Costa Rican countryside lawn. A vibrant tapestry of fruit trees. grass and blossoming bushes fill the space and bring tons of fluttering butterflies in the mornings. Bask in the warmth beside our full-sized pool, lounging in comfort as the sun caresses your skin. Nearby, our charming rancho offers the perfect setting for alfresco dining. Amidst views of the grazing pastures running along the whole property. A serene pastoral scene unfolds, with cows, pigs, and a family of horses grazing in lush pastures. This idyllic setting is ideally located between Quepos and Jaco, with the mesmerizing black sand beach of Playa Bandera just down the street (1 mile from the beach). THE PROPERTY Land: 1/2 acre Fully Gated: Yes House Size: 2000 square feet The main room of the house includes a full kitchen with high-end appliances. A range of sitting areas from a breakfast nook to a bar table and a reading nook. There's a beautiful wooden dinner table with exquisite wooden chairs. As well as a full living room with an overstuffed leather couch that can comfortably sleep 2. Bedroom 1: has a king bed with a connected bathroom and makes up the left side of the house. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share the second bathroom and those rooms make up the right side of the house. Bedroom 2: has a full-size bed and a very comfortable futon that also becomes a full-size bed. Bedroom 3: has a queen-sized bed along with a desk and desk chair. PLEASE NOTE: NO INTERNET / No streaming services either As of Dec 15th, 2023, after 23 years of Internet service, our provider has stopped offering service in our rural area. We are currently working to find a new solution. In the interim, there is no Internet and consequently no television streaming available at the house at this time. We're also bummed about this inconvenience and are working to solve it asap. thank you for your understanding. FOOD If you bring the ingredients, Cristina will craft the meals for you and do the dishes. There is a small grocery store called the 20/20, right at the top of Calle Publica (the street leading to our house), or in Parrita (2.5 miles away) there are multiple grocery stores. If you have any questions regarding this, please just ask! WATER Bottled water is recommended. We filter our water but I still wouldn't drink out of the tap. ANIMALS German shepherds, Zeus and Dallah, live on the property. They are friendly with people who like dogs but they are not socialized with other animals. Due to this, we are not allowing any other animals on the property. The dogs sometimes get excited and bark at the animals in the pasture. Both dogs kennel at night with their handler, in her casita located on the property. LAUNDRY The property has a washing machine. Cristina, the property manager, will be happy to wash and dry your laundry if you need to use the machine. NOISE and ENVIRONMENT We live in a rural environment not a secluded environment. In other words, it's usually quiet but not always. On two sides of the property line are grazing pastures. On the 3rd side, there is a neighbor and we share a fence. They have 5 little dogs that can sometimes bark. They also have children who play in their yard, and sometimes practice the xylophone (it actually sounds nice). On the street side, cars and bikes pass by periodically throughout the day and it's not super uncommon that some maintenance company is doing work somewhere on the street. All of this to say. Our area is a rural countryside but sometimes there is still noise. If you require a silent environment devoid of environmental sounds this property may not be secluded enough for you. VISiTORS / WORKERS A family cleans our pool usually on Monday and Thursday mornings. They are on the premises for about 20 minutes. A gardener and sometimes a co-worker will be on the property 1-2x a week. They work on the land for 8 hours a shift. They mow the lawn, maintain the trees, and overall keep the property beautiful. Some of these things like mowing the lawn can make noise. All of these people are previously vetted by the property owner. The workers have been with us for a long time and it is always the same vetted people doing the work. Sometimes additional workers will need to come on-premises for special tasks. These people are physically permitted onto the property directly by the on-site property manager. No unregistered guests, unknown visitors, or unvetted workers are allowed onto the property. "Corazon De Leon" isn't merely a destination; it's my heart. My happy hideaway and I'm sharing it with you. A place where luxury and nature coexist in harmony, waiting to be discovered by the discerning traveler in search of a amazing country escape. Guests can freely roam about the space including the main house and the lawn. The Toyota Rav4 is off-limits. Off-limits spaces include the Casita, the pump house, the tool shed, and the mower shed. Lastly, this is my private house. You will see my materials around the house. Feel free to read the coffee table books and use the silverware. But if it's obviously not yours, just leave it alone and please don't take it or swap it. :) Thank you! Cristina lives in the property in her own house. She is available at all times to be of service. The owner is also available via direct message for additional support. the neighborhood is very quite. we are surrounded by Palm farms. the left perimeter of the property is shared with a neighbor besides that the other 3 sides are viewed of nature and pastures. Often adorned with cows, a family of horses, or sometimes some sows. You are a mole from and have easy access to the black sand beach of Playa Bandera- simply take a right out of our driveway, take a right into the road and follow that until you drive straight into the black sand beah! Parrita is a quaint little agricultural city with several grocery stores, pharmacies, bars, restaurants, and vendors it's best to have a car if you want to easily get around. We have made relationships with a handful of cab drivers in the area so if you need a ride somewhere we can help coordinate a cab for you! - Bedroom 1 has a king bed with a tall bed height of almost 1 meter. Between the bed frame, box spring, and extra thick mattress. - 2 German Shepards (dogs) live on-site. No other animals permitted. After guest arrival and things calm, the dogs roam freely on the property as they are friendly and acclimated to people. Please no other animals on the property. Sometimes the dogs do get excited and bark at the animals in the pasture. that's about the only sounds you'll hear on our serene countryside Haven. Both dogs kennel at night with their handler, in her casita located on the property. - No Internet currently. (ICE, the only Internet provider, has dropped service in our area and we are exploring other solutions). - The house is owned by an adult with no children. There are delicate items on display and nothing on the property is "child proofed” in any way. The property is more intended towards adults who can enjoy the fineries of the space. Please read all house rules to ensure you meet the requirements of the house functions. Please use consideration of these points before booking. We look forward to sharing our home with you.
