This delightful property with 8 bedrooms is a 3 minute drive (12 minute walk) away from the beach, local bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. Here you can relax by the large designer pool, listen to the monkeys and observe hummingbirds and much other wildlife. The space Tucked away at the end of a 400-meter dirt road, the estate is often praised for its privacy and tranquility. Surrounded by lush forest, the property is home to a variety of wildlife, including howler monkeys, birds, squirrels, iguanas, and even turtles. The estate features timeless architecture with colonial and European influences, tasteful décor, and thoughtful attention to detail. The property includes the main house (Villa Harmonia), 3 luxury suites (Piña Suite, Mango Suite, and Lotus Suite), and a beautifully landscaped garden. With 4 fully equipped kitchens and 8 bedrooms, Buendía Lux Estate comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests. It's perfect for large groups wanting to spend time together while keeping the option of relaxing in their own spaces. THE MAIN HOUSE (6 guests) • A cozy living room with an aged red brick wall, 2 sofas, an armchair, and a 72 inch smart television. • A charming dining room with a large table made of local Guanacaste wood. • A fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful island, a cooktop, an oven, two fridges, a smart TV, a freezer, a wine cellar, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine, a blender and a toaster. • A master bedroom with king size bed and a stunning view on the garden and pool. It connects to a full-size closet room and a gorgeous bathroom. • 2 bedrooms, each with its own king size bed, large closet, desk, mirror, television, and bathroom. • A laundry room with a washing machine, a dryer and plenty of storage space. • A bathroom. • A private terrace with a dining area and chairs for relaxing. THE MANGO SUITE (4 guests) • A spacious living room with a big sofa, a smart TV and a desk. • A fully equipped kitchen with an island, a cooktop, an oven, a fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a blender and a toaster. • 2 cozy bedrooms, each with its own queen bed, closet, and desk. • A modern bathroom. • A private patio with an outdoor dining area. THE LOTUS SUITE (2 guests) This suite is separate from the main building. It has a large, private terrace but does not have a view of the garden. • A spacious living room with a big sofa and a smart TV. • A fully equipped kitchen with a cooktop, an oven, a fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, a blender and a toaster. • A cozy bedroom with a king bed, a closet and a desk. • A beautiful bathroom. • A private patio. OUTDOORS • A stunning designer pool (27.2ft x 32.8ft) with a shallow lounging area and a deeper swimming section. • A large shared patio with comfy sofas, a bar, a gas barbecue, and a bathroom. • 2 outdoor showers. • Secure on-site parking. We kindly ask that parents actively supervise their children when they are in or near the pool. The entire property is equipped with fast and reliable Wi-Fi and air conditioning in every room. Bed linen, bath towels and pool towels are also provided. We would be happy to help you with inquiries concerning touristic activities, such as ATV tours, horse-riding, diving, snorkeling, catamaran sailing, or mountain-biking. Guest access Guests are granted access through a private entrance with an automatic gate, as well as on-site parking for up to eight vehicles. Other things to note How to get to Playa Potrero: Playa Potrero is located on the beautiful Pacific coast of Costa Rica, in the Guanacaste province. Getting here is easy, with several travel options depending on your preferences. By air: The closest major airport is Liberia International Airport (LIR). From there, it takes roughly 45 minutes to drive to Playa Potrero. You can rent a car, book a private shuttle, or take a taxi directly to your accommodation. There is also a small domestic airport in Tamarindo, just 25–30 minutes away. Tamarindo Airport offers daily local flights operated by Sansa Airlines and Green Airways, with connections from San José (SJO) and other destinations in Costa Rica. It’s a great option if you're looking for a quicker and scenic way to reach the coast. By car: Driving from San José takes about 4 to 5 hours. The route is mostly paved and easy to follow. We recommend using Waze or Google Maps. Just enter “Playa Potrero” as your destination. By shuttle or bus: Private and shared shuttle services are available from both Liberia and San José. Public buses are the most budget-friendly option but can take longer and may involve transfers.
