House with Whirlpool and Fjordview

The house was built in 1890 and renovated in 2023 by my mother and me with a lot of love. Here you can relax, enjoy nature and experience what it is like to live in an authentic Norwegian house. The quiet location invites you to explore the island with its beaches, mountains and its variety of animals and living beings. There is the possibility of self check-in and pets are allowed by arrangement. The space The kitchen is fully equipped. In the house is a basic set of cleaning products. The covered seating area invites you to linger and in spring, summer and autumn terrace furniture is available. The four bedrooms can accommodate 8 adults. In the house you will find children's and board games, an assortment of various art supplies, as well as books in different languages and recommendations for the region. On request we are happy to provide you with a high chair, children's play table, blackboard and play carpet. In the living room, there is a smart TV. The Internet is obtained via Starlink and usually reaches at least speeds of 80 Mbit/s download and 15 Mbit/s upload. In the annex there is a grill, a badminton set, two boule sets, three stand up paddle boards as well as fishing equipment for three people, which you are welcome to use free of charge during your stay. In addition, you will find charcoal here. Guest access You have the entire house with garden and terrace, as well as the open grill hut at your disposal. A hot tub for up to 8 people is available during your stay. If interested, we can recommend “whale watching tours” in Andenes or sailboat tours in the immediate vicinity. Just 2 minutes from the house, you can rent e-bikes and fishing boats. Other things to note The location allows you to make day trips to the Lofoten Islands. Due to mass tourism on the Lofoten Islands, it is advisable to stay on Andøya and explore the Lofoten landscape as part of a day trip.
