This small fishing village has little commerce and options for restaurants and bars are limited. Also, the village shops offer the basic products and there is not much variety. The village is located away from the main roads that connect to the capitals of La Guajira and Magdalena being an island of tranquility. Dibulla is 40 minutes by car from Palomino, a tourist town in the region where there is a party and a lot of people. The village of Mingueo is a 20-minute drive away, where you'll find commerce and a variety of products. The public transport service is good with private cars transporting the inhabitants of the village to the different areas of the region. Motorcycle taxis are also a common form of transportation in Dibulla. Dibulla is the perfect base to explore the north side of the snowy Sierra de Santa Marta and the beginning of the Guajira desert.
