The house is situated in the small rural township of Rotherham where there are short walks available, a short 10 minute walk to the local hotel for all day meals, 30 minute drive to Hanmer Springs, Mt Lyford ski area. Fishing & boating on the Waiau River is nearby. If you are wanting a quiet stay then this antique cottage is for you. The space One double bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed. The 2nd bedroom has two comfortable single beds. Laundry with washing machine, tub and outside clothes line. Bathroom with toilet, shower, vanity. Kitchen supplied with oven and cook top, pots, dishes, knives and forks, toaster and jug. Please note there is no wifi or tv available Guest access The full house and grounds. Other things to note Rotherham is a township located in the Hurunui District. It is centrally positioned near popular tourist destinations. Hanmer Springs, a well-known resort town, is just a 25-minute drive away. Kaikoura, famous for its marine wildlife and coastal scenery, is approximately 1.5 hours away by car. Christchurch Airport lies to the south of Rotherham, with a drive time of around 1 hour and 20 minutes.
