Centrally located right next to the popular Mabou Farmers Market and a short walk (on a lit sidewalk!) to the famous Red Shoe Pub, this is the perfect getaway for a group of friends or family. Mabou is a perfect jumping off point for a trip around the Cabot Trail, or you can enjoy the many nearby attractions. We are a ten minute drive from the amazing West Mabou Beach and Mabou Coal Mines, and 20 minutes from all the amenities in Inverness. Or just enjoy the amazing sunsets from the porch! The space Guests have exclusive access to the lower half of the duplex. There are four bedrooms, each with very comfortable mattresses (3 queen and one double). Each of the bedrooms has its own private two-piece bathroom. The VERY large main bathroom has both a walk-in shower (with a seat) and a bathtub. The house is nice and cool in the summer, and we have air conditioning for the hottest days. Your hosts live upstairs and are available to help you with anything at all you might need! Guest access All four bedrooms, the main bathroom, and the very spacious kitchen, living and dining room are for the exclusive use of our guests, as is the front entrance and the very large porch. There is one room downstairs that will remain locked, and access to a washer and dryer are upon request. Other things to note There is absolutely no smoking or vaping on the premises and no parties or gatherings whatsoever. The limit of 8 people is very strict (this includes children). Guests who do not respect these rules and our home will be asked to leave. Please note that the nightly price is based on two people. For each additional person there will be a nightly charge of $25 per person to meet our additional laundry and other costs. We also cannot allow third party bookings as it invalidates our insurance.
