Located on the desired south shore of Rice Lake, we invite you to relax at this unique elevated property with a treehouse type feel. Swimming, water sports, fishing/ice fishing, stargazing and watching the sunset right over the lake are just a few of the pleasures that this cozy, modern lakeside getaway has to offer. The space This is a 2 story cottage that was originally built in 1910. Between 2021 and 2023 the cottage went through a complete rebuild to bring it up to modern standards while still maintaining it's beautiful cottage appeal. Our boutique cottage has a beautiful centrepiece kitchen and an open concept living and dining area great for entertaining. On the lower level there are 3 bedrooms, one of which has a walkout to the deck overlooking the lake. We provide: Fully equipped kitchen (appliances, pots, plates, utensils, etc.) Towels Clean Bedding/linens/pillows Coffee machine (Keurig) with complimentary coffee pods Smart TV Free wifi folding desk Games Kayaks/Paddleboard/Water Floaties + Life Jackets (spring/summer) Electric fireplace BBQ with propane Firepit Free parking (3 spaces) Please note there are stairs from the parking lot down to the cottage and stairs from the cottage going down to the lake. The lake is wonderful for swimming and fishing and in the winter months for ice fishing and snowmobiling in the area! Close to the shoreline is shallow water with a rocky bottom. During the warmer months, we recommend bringing water shoes as most choose to wear sandals/water shoes to comfortably walk into the lake. Guest access Entire cottage and lakefront are available for your use! Other things to note As it is a waterfront property, please ensure you take proper safety precautions when swimming or engaging in any water activities, whether it be during the warmer months or winter. If you are bringing small children, we recommend they remain supervised at all times.
