Set out on foot to one of the many walking routes in the area, which take in Hampsfell and Eggerslack Wood or take a short drive to Ambleside, Grasmere, Coniston or Ulverston, this is a perfect base to explore some of the hidden treasures of the Lake District. The space Or why not rest your feet and hop on the Lake Windermere steamer, which winds its way for ten miles into the central fells, passing Bowness and Sawrey along the way. Enter through the front door of this pretty cottage into the luxurious and comfy open-plan lounge/kitchen area. Here you can snuggle down to watch you favourite film on the Smart TV in front of the flame effect electric fire on chillier evenings or read a book in the peaceful surroundings. The bespoke kitchen is on hand within the same area and is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.
