Relax in this comfortable, peaceful place to stay. Your room is at the end of the hall, w/ a private bath. High end new queen mattress, sheets, and pillows. Brand new Roku TV w/ FREE Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and tons of DVDs! Mini fridge/freezer, coffee maker, and table for 2 in room, w/ access to full kitchen/dining. Work space with extra supplies, free use of printer. Yoga mat, many amenities, and is stocked with foods / beverages available for purchase, to save you time! Only 30 min to downtown! The space My house is in a quiet suburb, with nice neighbors and a park with a playground just 10 houses down. Your room is a very private bedroom at the end of the upstairs hall. You have your own hall bathroom, with a new shower/tub combo. You have access to the washer/dryer, that’s right in between the two. All the basic amenities are included, like towels, laundry soap, iron, hair dryer, etc. Other items like 100% natural shampoo, soap, razors, toothbrushes, and additional personal care products are available for purchase if you forget them. You may use the kitchen downstairs to heat up food in the microwave, on the stovetop, or in the large toaster oven. Access to blender, dishes/utensils/glassware, pots/pans, tools, spices, tea kettle, etc. Let me know how much you’re planning on using the kitchen, so I can prepare. You may use my dining table if you prefer to eat there instead of your room. During nice weather, the BBQ grill is available on my back deck, as well as lounging furniture. Kitchenette in your room has a mini fridge, coffee maker, and table for 2. Mini fridge is stocked with yogurt, burritos, protein drinks and kombucha/beverages, that can be purchased separately. Breakfast foods, snacks, extra coffee, and other beverages also available. Brand new Roku TV is connected to my streaming services, so you can use Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney+, Discovery+, Acorn, and Britbox! You have a DVD player with a HUGE selection of excellent movies, work desk with office supplies, yoga mat, plenty of shelf & closet space available, space heater/fan, and a packable crib available if needed! Guest access Room, bath, kitchen, dining, deck & backyard. Please don’t enter the other bedrooms, or the basement. During your stay I can stay out of your way, or chat it up! I’m originally from KC, but lived elsewhere & traveled a lot. I’m a real foodie, and can recommend good restaurants, parks, activities, etc, for the majority of the Kansas City area! I run my small biz from the home, but it’s mostly in the basement and totally out of the way. I come and go throughout the day. I always have my phone on me & texting is fastest. When you stay here you’ll have my cell number and can text anytime with ?’s & concerns :) Other things to note If you’d like me to do any food shopping for you in advance, we can discuss that ahead of time.
