Little Tree Farm Stay

Hardly 10 km away from the famed Kollengode Vayalidam, this two-storey farm house is located in a picturesque, ten acre mini forest but with all amenities like high speed internet, electricity, running /hot water and air conditioning. Gap view point atop a rock, several ponds, century old banyan tree, curated fossil collection, 360 degree star gazing, promenading peacocks and wild fowls are other attractions. It is a base for travelling to Parambikulam, Valparai, Malakkapara & then to Chalakudy The space About 2800 sq feet in two floors. Ground floor consists of two air conditioned, bath attached large bed rooms, kitchen, dining space, veranda, store, sitting room etc. One bed room has 1 king size bed and 2 two feet beds. Second bed room has 1 king size bed and 2 three feet beds. First floor consists of a air conditioned hall with two bathrooms separated by curtains and a veranda. This area has got one king size bed, one 3 feet bed and 2 two feet beds. First floor has got internal as well as external access. Kitchen is equipped with cooking gas, fridge, utensils etc. Guest access Guest will have separate accesses to one bedroom in ground floor and entire first floor. One bed room in ground floor can be accessed through common veranda only. Dining space and kitchen are shared among the guests. During your stay Hosts, Vinod Kumar and Dr Preetha are staying in the nearby house. They can be contacted over phone or in person. Depending upon the interest of the guests, they can interact with them and view their private collection of fossils, rocks, books etc. They can also seek Vinod's help in identification of prominent stars and planets during the night. A maid will assist the guests to access the gap view point or swinging around the old banyan tree. Other things to note Guests need to be careful while navigating using Google maps since it will show multiple, often circuitous, routes. Please follow the host's directions regarding the route. The nearest tea shop is 1.5 km away, a typical junction with plenty of shops is 5 km away. If the guests need the support of a cook or food, please inform the need in advance. There will be basic provisions and kitchen available for the guests to prepare own food.
