Our grand family suite offers incredibly generous space and spectacular views of Abbey Gardens. This stylish yet homely suite was thoughtfully designed to encompass the history of the building, incorporating the restored fireplace and the intricate stain glass features. You will find a partitioned sleeping arrangement with a king and a single bed. The modern kitchenette is accompanied by a dining table and chairs. There is also a lovely snug seating area, and a luxurious modern bathroom. The space Old Abbey House has been a major part of Abingdon’s history all the way back to the 18th century. The Grade II listed house was originally owned in the 1700s by a leading Abingdon-based businessman, followed by the Mayor of Abingdon: E. J Trendell. Old Abbey House now operates as a boutique self check-in hotel; providing a home away from home that combines traditional charm and luxurious modern amenities. Guest access Our self check-in system is simple and easy to use. We will send over your check-in details a week prior to your arrival which will contain instructions and your Booking ID. On the day, all you will need is your Booking ID. We are always available over the phone if you require any assistance. Other things to note Standard check-in time is at 4PM and check-out is at 10AM, unless otherwise arranged prior to arrival with the Hotel team. Please note, we can be ultra flexible with any check-in time after 4PM; however, we do ask that if you arrive after 8PM that you kindly keep the noise down so that we don’t cause any disturbance to our neighbours and other guests.
