Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or an adventure-filled vacation, our cottages are the perfect choice. The space Furrows Cottage is beautifully furnished. It is a very spacious, single storey property with three bedrooms. The living area is open plan with fabulous exposed beams. There is a well-equipped, stylish kitchen that has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, small freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine with integral dryer. The dining area is ideal for relaxing and enjoying meals and adjoins a large sitting room area with comfortable sofas, a book and film library and large Smart TV and DVD player. You will find a double bedroom with king size bed and an en-suite bathroom (with shower over). There are also two twin bedrooms. The house bathroom is beautifully done in limestone, with a large free-standing bath, two hand wash basins, shower, WC and bidet. Dogs are allowed in Furrows for a £100/dog pet fee. Guest access Whilst staying at Furrows Cottage you will have access to a communal gym, games room, all weather Tennis court and swimming pool. Other things to note The area In a perfect location and surrounded by the rolling Yorkshire Wolds, Eastgate Farm is only ten minutes to the nearest beach. Located on a working farm, you will immediately feel relaxed by the rural nature of the properties. The small village of Thwing epitomises peacefulness and is extremely family friendly: the cottages are a five-minute walk from the village park and one minute away from a beautiful area for picnics. We endeavour to provide you with the perfect holiday by investing in the best facilities possible inclusive of a luxury swimming pool, tennis court, games room and gymnasium. However, we also focus on the smaller attention to detail elements of your holiday too. As passionate cooks, we pride ourselves on being well equipped and have exceptional standards of cleaning. We are a large family and understand the importance of entertaining so have an abundance of games and toys for all of your family to enjoy. We always go above and beyond to make sure you have the holiday you deserve. We are surrounded by small market and coastal towns: Driffield is our closest town and is a busy market town set in the Yorkshire Wolds, with a lot on offer for its visitors. There are many pubs and cafes to choose from, providing quality food and drink from local suppliers. Visitors can enjoy shopping for local produce at the weekly Thursday market and there is also the yearly Driffield Show held at the Showground every summer. Bridlington is a treasured coastal town, with lovely sandy beaches and plenty of attractions for all of the family. Filey, Scarborough and Flamborough also make for great days out on the coast. Slightly further afield, but perfect for day trips are Whitby, York, Beverley and Hull. You will find wonderful walks on the nearby Yorkshire Wolds and we have two large stately homes (Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall) that are open to the public and have super playgrounds within ten minutes’ drive.
