Backed by the church of this peaceful village in the middle of the fields, this old small convent still lives to the rhythm of the bells. Two possibilities for your stay: - Ground floor: 70 m2 studio comfort and charm: double room, bathroom, living-dining room, kitchen, toilet - entire house with floor: dormitory 2 bunk beds and 3 single beds + charming bathroom and separate toilet Cycling, hiking in the largest state forest in France, trips along the Loire, visiting gardens, castles and charming villages in the region. The space The Couvent offers a nice studio on the ground floor or the entire house, with independent entrance. The studio alone consists of a bedroom with a large double bed and its en-suite bathroom, an equipped kitchen and a beautiful 18th century living-dining room with woodwork and fireplace, where the light coming from the fields on the horizon generously crosses. Possibility to rent the studio on the ground floor and the floor which then includes a large dormitory of 5-6 beds, a desk for children to work, a beautiful bathroom with double sink + shower + bathtub. Separate toilet that opens into the large wooden stairwell. A baby cot is also available. The entrance is through an old greenhouse attached to the house, and it is possible to park a car under the porch of the entrance gate or in the church square. The whole overlooks a green enclosed courtyard on one side, on the other a beautiful garden bordered by the church (15th century facade) and the fields, where the perspectives and variations of the sky attract the contemplative eye. Here time seems to stand still. However, the Convent is located in the center of the village, allowing access in 1 min to the delicious creperie-pizzeria-cafe "Roc Maria", where the atmosphere is family and warm, the bread machine, the Post Office... Grocery store of local and regional products 4 min, butcher + bakery + tobacco + supermarket 7 min, supermarkets 9 min by car. We leave you a guide to the best places and addresses to discover in the house. We will prepare your beds according to the details given by you, plan to bring only your bath linen :-) Guest access The guest accommodation has its own independent entrance under the greenhouse. The pleasant courtyard is also available for guest use, with garden benches and furniture to dine in the sun during the summer. Other things to note We will prepare the beds with their sheets, but we do not provide towels, remember to bring your bath linen.
