Message host or check Shanti Tiny Home The space This cabin style tiny home is decorated with warm, cozy vibes. Chai is a 8x16ft tiny house on wheels with 10 ft ceilings. Relax in the comfortable seating space, cook delicious meals in the kitchenette. Enjoy your meal at the bar window. And then retire for the night in the cozy loft bed or Japanese floor futon mattress, whichever you prefer! Laptop friendly work space and WIFI. This tiny house is located in a 22-acre mixed forest and open fields in Florida, therefore encountering a few bugs, insects, spiders, or lizards, etc is possible depending on the time of year and weather, generally summer and no more than anywhere else in area nature. Sometimes something can get inside, so if you have phobias related to insects or arachnids or might be intimated by an armadillo or deer, then probably a hotel in the city will be a better choice, but most everyone loves it and leaves gratified. If it happens something comes up or in, just let us know. Perhaps consider this highly comfortable glamping experience. Part of the value you get here is that you are surrounded by beautiful nature and quietude without the busyness of a campground or publicly open facility. That's why our guests visit here to be immersed in this peaceful location whether for retreat or just a good nights sleep away from the roads. Chai contains a fully equipped kitchenette with induction 2-burner cooktop stove, mini fridge, deep stainless steel sink with pull-down matte black faucet. We have included everything you need for cooking for 2: a pot, pan, plates, bowls, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, mugs, tea kettle, and a knife set. There is one loft bed that sleeps two and *requires the ability to climb a ladder in order to access* and is a favorite spot to curl up with a good book. The main area has two small benches for seating, one floor cushion, and one seat at the bar window ledge. Available is a single sized Japanese futon mattress for an alternative sleeping option, or an extra guest, if you plan to use it please request extra blankets and pillows to be provided if not having your own. The cozy loft bed is a favorite spot to curl up with a good book and glass of wine for the night. This tiny home includes a fully equipped bathroom with flush toilet, vanity sink, and walk-in shower stall with a tankless, instant hot water heater. Children are welcome but please use your cautious discretion with children in the loft. Pets allowed with a cleaning fee of $25 per pet. Please disclose any pets prior to checking in. Unauthorized pets may face additional fees. Guest access You will have the tiny home to yourself! You will have access to then entire 22-acres (Alachua Forest Sanctuary. Purposely there's rarely more than a couple stewards and a few other guests. Other things to note The spaces and land are peaceful and vegetarian standard when on the land - no cooking meat or fish...eggs are okay. No smoking/vaping in spaces. No intoxicated behavior. No loud noise or music, please maintain the sanctity and respect for the land and others. Biodegradable products only. Nothing down the toilet/septic except toilet paper.
