WA wine ctry - an "experience". Enjoy our newly renovated home next to the Red Mountain AVA. Only 5 minutes from Red Mtn tasting rooms, 25 minutes from Prosser & Tri Cities tasting rooms and 75 minutes from Walla Walla. Relax on the deck or large living area with upper Red Mtn vineyard views. The main living area has a spacious, equipped kitchen, and the lower level has 3 large bedrooms. Hosts are on property ready to welcome you to The Debacchury - the home of their black Lab - Bacchus. The space The property, unseen from the road, is unknown to many locals. Originally built in the mid 1990's as a 2-bedroom, one story, 1300 sq ft, bachelor pad the home was given an additional 3800 sq ft 2 story addition in 2010 and a full interior facelift in 2023/2024. The current design allows these two spaces to merge together or remain separated into two living spaces. The larger space is referenced as the primary residence. This area includes the main two-story entrance to the home, an upper great room that includes the kitchen, dining, living area and powder room. The great room has a wall of windows and a deck with views of the Red Mountain AVA (vineyards). The first floor has a primary bedroom with a king bed and large ensuite. The primary bedroom has access to the fenced in backyard that is shared with the hosts and their lab - Bacchus. There are two other large bedrooms (one king bed and one queen bed). The two bedrooms share one bathroom across the hall. There is a laundry and another exterior door on the first floor. Access to the home from the outside can be done from the first or second floor. The great room has a 65-inch flat screen television with sound system and a fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances and a dining table for 6. Sunset views from the upper side of the property are picturesque. Grab a chair/blanket, bottle of wine and watch the golden sky go dark as your day concludes. Bedding, hair dryers, towels, soaps and shampoos are included in your stay. Each bedroom has a charging base next to the bed for your electronics, just bring your cord. The residence obtains its water from a well and has a new water softener, filter and hot water system. Water waste utilizes a septic system so anything other than water should not be flushed or disposed into the system. Guest access Guests have access to the entire 2 story main home, consisting of a large great room kitchen and three first floor bedrooms. There is a deck off the great room. There is a shared fenced in back yard that has access through gates or the master bedroom. This area is available to guests, but it is also a shared area with the hosts and their very friendly lab - Bacchus. In the 2-story entry hall to the home there are French doors that lead to the space occupied by the hosts. These doors will be locked and/or hidden and not available to guests. Other things to note We are very excited to open our home to other's who are looking for a more secluded and relaxing place to stay while they are away from home. But with wineries, shopping and other attraction only minutes away numerous communities. Please know the full residence is ultimately our home when we do not have guests. We have taken pride in its current makeover and have put a lot of our own blood, sweat and tears into its current state. Like all homes, it is a constant work in progress and has its quirks. We are always open to ideas on how to make your stay more comfortable. There is a dog on the property and although the home is clean and the furry friend has limited access to bedroom areas, any allergies should be taken into consideration before booking.
