This former fisherman’s cottage is set in the heart of the coastal town of Cullen, steps from the shore. It’s just the place for a romantic getaway, whether the waves thunder or the sea twinkles. The space Nestled in the Seatown area among other houses from the original fishing settlement, this cottage has been refurbished with a modern style yet retains many delightful period features such as the deep-set windows, rustic doors, and beamed ceilings. The comfortable lounge area has a cosy wood burner and a great rocking chair perfect for curling into with a magazine as well as sofas and armchairs. There’s a dining table that connects the living space to the sleek galley kitchen where an electric oven and hob plus microwave and dishwasher makes eating in a pleasure, with plenty of counter space too. The smart white-tiled bathroom is downstairs off the entrance hallway and has a shower over the bath. Stairs lead from the living room up to a lovely double bedroom in the eaves with windows on both sides. Wake up to the sound of the waves washing onto the sand and the seagulls calling, before taking breakfast outside in the small side garden with views out over Cullen Bay.
