A place to unwind, reflect, and enjoy a gentle pause from the road. The space Nestled just 7 minutes from Melbourne Airport, The Old Coach House is a hidden gem where history and tranquillity meet. Enjoy a cup of tea or a glass of wine on the wide veranda overlooking Moonee Ponds Creek and scenic walking tracks. Once a rest stop for coachmen and swagmen who would stretch out on these very boards to sleep, the house still offers a peaceful retreat with rustic charm that honours its storied past. A short stroll away you'll find the Westmeadows Tavern, a local café, and the Old Westmeadows Police Lock-Up, a well-preserved bluestone relic tucked off Ardlie Street. Built in the 1850s with original bluestone and timber floorboards, the home features a large master bedroom with a queen bed and quality microfibre pillows for a restful night’s sleep, along with a cosy lounge, full kitchen, and bathroom/laundry. We recently uncovered the original fireplace behind the walls and restored it to its former glory. Outside, the garden offers 60 square metres of lush grass, a serene outdoor setting, and a waterfall pond.
