Wing Cottage is a charming period terraced cottage with log burner in the heart of Marlow. It has been stylishly refurbished and has its own secluded courtyard garden. 5 minutes walk from High St shops with Everyman Cinema, Tom Kerridge’s Michelin* Hand &Flowers & The Coach, plus Marlow Ivy Garden, Côte Brasserie, Piccolino, The Compleat Angler and several historic pubs. The Park and Thames Path river walk are 10 minutes walk. Nearby bus stops serve neighbouring Henley-on-Thames (8 miles away). The space Beautiful wood block flooring is laid throughout the ground floor with a large and welcoming open plan living room with log burner, 43” The Frame TV, Marshall bluetooth speaker and dining area with plenty of power points and USBs to create a quiet work zone. The brand new kitchen is well equipped. Upstairs the newly fitted bathrooms have heated towel rails and there is a modern water softener. Gas central heating throughout. For al fresco dining, there is a garden table and 4 chairs. Guest access The cottage has its own front door with key safe. Wing Cottage is a period property and the stairs to the first floor are quite steep. We can provide a dedicated parking space by prior arrangement and free on street parking and a Pay & Display car park are usually available nearby. Please note that Chapel Street is a bustling road and although we have double and triple glazing throughout, there may be some traffic noise during busier times of day at the front of the house. Whilst Wing Cottage is not toddler proof, we welcome babes in arms. Other things to note Pets We are happy to welcome one small breed furry friend per booking and there is a useful park opposite the cottage. Please contact us in advance to agree pet accommodation. In all cases, a dog should be kept on the ground floor and off the furniture and never be left unattended in the cottage. A small additional cleaning fee will be added.
