Welcome to the lovingly restored Clunes Cottage, nestled on a large, private block in the peaceful village of Clunes. This unique home combines architectural charm with laid-back luxury, perfect for couples, families or a small group of friends. The wide wrap-around balcony offers serene views of the expansive greenery, while the barrel hot tub and outdoor shower provide a touch of indulgence. Step outside and you're in the heart of Clunes famed for its excellent coffee, food and wine scene. The space Discover the charm of Clunes Cottage, a beautifully renovated weatherboard home just a short stroll from the heart of Clunes village. This inviting retreat offers the perfect blend of traditional charm and modern convenience. BEDROOMS Inside, the cottage features four spacious bedrooms, each with comfortable queen beds and fresh linen. The master bedroom opens to a private ensuite with shower. Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 share the family bathroom with a luxurious freestanding 17-jet spa bath and rain shower perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. KITCHEN For the chefs, the state-of-the-art kitchen is perfect for creating memorable meals, featuring a large Fisher & Paykel oven, a microwave oven combo, induction cooktop, and a generously sized fridge. It’s fully equipped to cater for everyone. LIVING/ DINING The open-plan dining area features a central dining table and bifold French doors that lead to a spacious back deck, creating a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. This design offers the perfect setting for alfresco-style dining with lush garden views. The BBQ, conveniently located just off the deck, enhances the outdoor dining experience. To encourage a deeper connection with nature and allow for a true disconnect from daily distractions, this home does not include a television. However, if you wish to enjoy your own media, a small projector has been supplied for you to connect your laptop. GARDEN Begin your day with a coffee on the front verandah daybed, soaking in the peaceful surroundings, or spend your evenings gathered around the fire pit under a canopy of stars in the private backyard. Large 6-person stainless steel hot tub (always hot & ready!) Feel free to pick ripe vegetables and seasonal fruits to add a special touch to your cooking during your stay. We simply ask that you take what you need and leave the rest for other guests and future harvests to enjoy. For children, there’s a cubby house to inspire play and adventure, adding to the cottage’s family-friendly appeal. Everything is in great working order, and of course, you will have access to WiFi. Other things to note 🐾 Pet-friendly Well-behaved dogs are welcome — just let me let us know in advance. (Please note: the yard is partially fenced.) We kindly ask that you keep an eye on them to ensure they don’t chase or disturb the local wildlife or our water dragons who make our garden their home. Friendly Wildlife Clunes is home to some wonderfully friendly wildlife. Around the house, verandahs and in the garden, you may spot families of Water Dragons. These shy, peaceful creatures love basking in the sun and occasionally enjoying a banana. Please treat them kindly—they’re a delightful part of the natural surroundings.
