Sunrise Cottage - Oceanfront Property

Located near Tatamagouche on the Northumberland Shore, this year-round cottage is perfect for a quiet getaway. Our cosy cottage features a four acre lot with 600 feet of water frontage, predominately on a salt marsh. Many shore birds frequent the area as well as the occasional seal bobbing in the ocean. We are situated close to the golf course and local bakery, and are just a short drive to Tatamagouche featuring shops, eateries, trail systems and more. Ski Wentworth is a 30 minute drive away. The space The cottage is heated and cooled with a heat pump. Additionally, there is a wood stove for those chilly evenings. Starter kindling and wood is provided for a fire. Additional wood can be purchased at the Country Bread Basket Bakery on Brule Point Rd or at the Home Hardware or Needs store in Tatamagouche. The cottage has a main floor with an open loft area. The loft is accessed by a ladder and houses two twin beds. The bottom floor has a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and a kitchen open to the living area. The kitchen features a counter top convection oven, toaster and air fryer appliance, a double induction cooktop, coffee maker, kettle and more. Outside is a deck with Adirondack chairs and a small table. Here, you can sit and view the ocean or venture to the waters edge. Guest access The property is completely yours and guests have access to all areas of the home and property. Self check in and self check out are set up for your convenience. Other things to note Manuals for appliances, electronics and the wood stove can be found in the desk drawer. An assortment of board games and books are available for your entertainment. Please don’t burn garbage, cardboard, etc in the wood stove. Started kindling and wood is provided. Additional wood can purchased locally. Smoking is prohibited inside the cottage.
