Les Biches, large family home in Loire Valley

Welcome to "Les Biches", just a stone's throw from Beauval Zoo and in the heart of the Châteaux de la Loire! Elodie and Anthony open the doors to this large family home of over 250m², completely renovated in 2023. Combining old-world charm with modern facilities, it's the ideal place for a holiday rental with family or friends in the heart of the Loir-et-Cher region, and the guarantee of an unforgettable stay in Touraine. The space As soon as you arrive, you'll be seduced by the authentic charm of this home. On the ground floor, you'll find a cosy lounge with a wood-burning stove (usable in cold season) and a vast, fully-equipped kitchen making up a 60m² communal area, a large dining room (23m²), a very cosy study (21m²), a utility room and a toilet. The second floor offers four beautiful, comfortable bedrooms: - a magnificent 30m² Parent Suite with a king-size bed and bathtub in the bedroom, a bathroom with double basins and shower, and a large dressing room, - 1 family room (19 m²) with a queen-size bed and 2 single beds, - 2 bedrooms (15 m²) with queen-size beds. A separate toilet completes the rest area. On the second floor, the best views of the house are accessible from a cosy area on the landing and from an attic converted into a kids room (furnishing expected during fall 2024) and cinema room with video projector to provide entertainment for young and old alike. The exterior of the house will also appeal to you, with a first garden surrounded by a barn housing a workshop and a gym. A barbecue and a bread oven (refurbishing expected in a near futur) complete the facilities on offer. The large weeping willow will shelter you from the sun and heat on summer days, when you'll enjoy a siesta in the deckchairs or an outdoor meal. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, with its wide-open spaces at your fingertips. Guest access The house is entirely at the disposal of travellers, with the exception of a storeroom for linen and household products. Other things to note Gym: Please bring a pair of clean shoes and only wear them inside the room (equipment available: dumbells, kettlebells, TV, treadmill / future equipment will be provided from the end of 2024) Stove: logs are provided in the house during winter season. Those in the barn can be used in addition at a price of €1/log. Electricity: any consumption exceeding €14 excluding tax/day (€16.8 including tax) will be deemed abusive (excessive heating, electric vehicle charging, etc.) and will be re-invoiced to you. Other : For those strongly allergic to cats: when we come to the house we are sometimes accompanied by our cat Brenda.
