Welcome to "Les Biches", just a stone's throw from Beauval Zoo and in the heart of the Châteaux de la Loire! Elodie and Anthony open the doors to this large family home of over 250m², completely renovated in 2023. Combining old-world charm with modern facilities, it's the ideal place for a holiday rental with family or friends in the heart of the Loir-et-Cher region, and the guarantee of an unforgettable stay in Touraine. The space From the moment you arrive, you'll be charmed by the authentic character of this beautiful home. On the ground floor, you'll find a welcoming living room with a wood-burning stove (available during the colder months), a spacious 60 m² open-plan kitchen with a central island, a large dining room (23 m²), a cosy study (21 m²), a laundry room, and a separate toilet. The first floor offers four comfortable bedrooms: * A stunning 30 m² master suite featuring a king-size bed, a freestanding bathtub in the bedroom, an en-suite bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower, and a large walk-in wardrobe. * One family bedroom (19 m²) with a queen-size bed and two single beds. * Two bedrooms (15 m² each), both with a queen-size bed. A separate toilet completes this floor, dedicated to rest and relaxation. On the second floor, you'll enjoy some of the finest views in the house from a cosy landing lounge area. This floor also features a converted attic with a children's playroom (equipment available from autumn 2024) and a home cinema with a projector, providing entertainment for both children and adults. Outside, the property is just as inviting. A charming garden is bordered by a traditional barn housing a workshop (where you'll find the outdoor furniture and firewood) as well as a fitness room. A pétanque court (with boules, Mölkky, and a badminton set provided) and a barbecue are also available for your enjoyment. The traditional bread oven is currently used for storage and will be restored in the near future. The magnificent weeping willow provides welcome shade on warm summer days, making it the perfect spot to relax on a sun lounger for an afternoon nap or enjoy an al fresco meal. Here, you'll experience the peace and tranquillity of the countryside, with generous outdoor spaces to unwind and reconnect with nature. Guest access The house is entirely at the disposal of travellers, with the exception of a storeroom for linen and household products. A photo check-in and check-out will be required upon arrival and departure. Other things to note Gym: Please bring a pair of clean shoes and only wear them inside the room (equipment available: dumbells, kettlebells, TV, treadmill / future equipment will be provided from the end of 2024) Stove: logs are provided in the house during winter season. Those in the barn can be used in addition at a price of €1/log. Electricity: any consumption exceeding €14 excluding tax/day (€16.8 including tax) will be deemed abusive (excessive heating, electric vehicle charging, etc.) and will be re-invoiced to you. Other : For those strongly allergic to cats: when we come to the house we are sometimes accompanied by our cat Brenda. A thorough cleaning is carried out after each visit, and she is not allowed in the "family", "blue" and "yellow" rooms. Registration Details 4563
