You stretch lazily, open your eyes & find yourself in the most charming room. You wander out into the cozy family room. You pause and admire all of the historic nicknacks and smile at the history that surrounds you. You grab a mug of coffee & head out to the enchanting wrap-around porch. There you sit and breathe in the fresh air and your gorgeous surroundings. You smile and think, Life is good! Room located on 2nd floor and shares a bathroom if other guests are in-house. This is a traditional Inn and has shared common areas: 2 family rooms with smart TV's, the dining room and a quaint sun room. If we are in house the kitchen is unavailable. However, a continental breakfast will be served. Each room has a mini fridge and there is a microwave and Kreuig coffee maker in the dining room. I'll follow your lead. Lots to do, we are centrally located with most everything a 20 min drive! Downtown Northfield is .01 miles from the Inn. You will find a great Brewery/restaurant, a coffee shop, a fabulous diner, delicious pizza parlor and more. The capital of Vermont Montpellier is only a short 11 miles away, as is Barre and Berlin. Waterbury is 22 miles away. It is home of the Ben & Jerry's Factory, a must see (and taste). From there the beautiful town of Stowe is only 11 miles away. Stowe "Aspen/Park City" of the East. There you will find the Von Trapp House, tons of restaurants , a ski resort and boutique shops.There are 6 ski resorts around us (Sugarbush Ski Resort, Mad River Glen, Northeast Slopes, Camel Hump Nordic Ski, Cochrans and Middlebury Snowball) The closest airport is Burlington (33 miles away) If we are home our 2 dogs will be on premises. A 10 year old black lab and a 3 year old border collie. Both are rescues and friendly.
