The space This cozy-yet-spacious storybook cottage is tastefully furnished for maximum comfort. Both bedrooms feature plush queen beds, and the foldable couch in the living room comfortably sleeps a fifth guest (extra blanket and pillow provided). The basement is staff-access only and it is rather dark with a steep stairs so please do not enter for your own safety! Other things to note Please Note: Cooking Basics: We do not provide cooking condiments, but Safeway and Trader Joe’s are just minutes away for anything you may need. Nature & Insects: The cottage is surrounded by lush greenery. While we have routine pest control, during rainy seasons some ants or bugs may appear. Just a heads-up—it’s part of being close to nature! Bedding: We use a triple-sheet method (no fitted sheets or duvet covers) to ensure all linens are freshly laundered between guests, cleaner than most hotel standards! Air Conditioning: Seattle summers are usually mild. Portable AC is available upon request and will be set up if the weather warms up. Pricing: The nightly base rate covers 4 guests. Each additional guest is $15/night, which helps cover extra utilities, supplies, and wear & tear. Airbnb will calculate this automatically. Pets: We welcome furry friends! There is a $150 per pet fee per stay. Home Layout: Main floor - Living room - Kitchen and dining area - 2 bedroom with shared bathroom Last-Minute Bookings: For reservations made within 24 hours of check-in, we may not always guarantee a 4:00 PM check-in time due to cleaning schedules. Check with us for confirmation. House Rules Same-Day Bookings: We’re happy to host you last-minute—please message us first to confirm check-in timing. Check-In / Check-Out: Check-in: 4:00 PM Check-out: 11:00 AM Early check-in may be available on the day—just ask! No Shoes Indoors: Please remove shoes inside the home. Thanks for helping keep it clean! No Smoking: Absolutely no smoking inside or within 20 feet of the home. A violation fee applies. Quiet Hours: Please keep noise down after 10:00 PM out of respect for our neighbors. No Parties or Extra Guests: No parties, events, or unregistered guests allowed. Trash: Please sort trash into the correct bins. If unsure, leave it inside—our cleaners will handle it. Lost & Found: We’ll do our best to return lost items. If found, we can ship them for a $35 handling fee + shipping. Items are held for 2 weeks after check-out. No Mailbox Access: We do not provide mailbox access for short stays.
