The space Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a spacious hallway leading to an impressive, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Slip onto the sofa and enjoy the natural light streaming through the huge windows. When it’s time to eat, head to the large, contemporary-style kitchen to cook up some dinner. Host a sociable meal at the sleek dining table, or head out onto the pretty patio to dine alfresco. After dinner, warm your toes by the wood burner-effect electric fire in the lounge as you catch up on your favourite TV shows. At the end of the day, climb a few steps up to the main bedroom – a lovely space with a king-size bed, beautiful beams and its own en-suite bathroom. Alternatively, retreat to the charming twin bedroom or the rustic king-size bedroom with its en-suite shower room. To complete the layout, there’s a stylish family bathroom. Grab your binoculars and head to the tallest freestanding structure in the UK - the Emley Moor Mast (4.5 miles) - while you can't go up the mast itself, you can take in the staggering sights. Alternatively, discover one of Britain's best engineering marvels at Standedge Tunnel and Visitor Centre (14.5 miles). Take a boat trip through the tunnel and then grab a bite and soak up the charming canal-side atmosphere at one of the quaint local cafes.
