One of the best parts about our creekside oasis is that it feels very remote, while being conveniently located only a few miles from downtown Sandy and neighboring mountain towns. The town of Sandy is quaint, charming, and has everything you need from grocery stores, restaurants, bars, even a movie theater! It's famous for it's Joe's Donuts and Shell station breakfast burritos (trust us), and is the main stop from Portland to Mt Hood so it's sprinkled with gear shops, gift shops, and food trucks. You need a car to get around. Parking is easy and free. *We don't get too much snow here at ~1100 feet, but we do some each winter season. Being right off the highway makes it easy to get here, but we do have somewhat steep driveway. Due to how little and sporadic snowfall is, we do not get the roads regularly plowed and therefore, 4WD + chains is always a good idea if you have them.
